At United Virginia, we believe that human rights principles hold up the vision of a free, just, and peaceful world and set minimum standards for how individuals and institutions everywhere should treat people. To advocate human rights is to demand that the human dignity of all people be respected.
An important factor in our efforts is the understanding that all human rights are part of a complementary framework. Issues related to employment law, civil rights, religious freedom, gender rights and voter protection are areas of particular interest to our organization.
