United Virginia believes that citizen leaders can make a difference one cause, one day, one social movement at a time. The heart of our communities can be found in the service our citizens provide.

At United Virginia, our strength is defined through our efforts to promote, encourage and incorporate service in the daily lives of our fellow citizens. This includes volunteer community service, government service, and military service. Through service, people can be empowered to do extraordinary things through the use of existing organizations as well as individual action.

The expansion goals of United Virginia's community-sustained microenterprise initiative in Virginia calls for expanded organizational efforts for to promote financial literacy, asset building, and wealth building with our communities. United Virginia hopes to encourage and promote sustained civic engagement and economic growth that will transform those serving, the communities they help, and the Commonwealth as a whole.
